Now it gets really weird.

Lincoln's secretary was named Kennedy.
Kennedy's Secretary was named Lincoln.


Both were assassinated by Southerners.
Both were succeeded by Southerners named Johnson.

Andrew Johnson, who succeeded Lincoln, was born in 1808
Lyndon Johnson, who succeeded Kennedy, was born in 1908


John Wilkes Booth, who assassinated Lincoln, was born 1839
Lee Harvey Oswald, who assassinated Kennedy, was born 1939

Both assassins were known by their three names.

WORLD'S FIRST LEGISLATURE

The first legislature in the world was formed in Pingvellir, Iceland, in 930.
Called the Alpingi (English: Althing), this legislature met at Thingvellir until 1799, when it disbanded for many years. It returned in 1844, moving to reyjavik, Iceland's capital, where it has been ever since.
The Althings has 63 members in one house of government.
